As some of you know i bought these off Nick Read on CS last week and they have just turned up at my work...both in excellent condition.

Thinking of selling because i want a bench for weightlifting so would like to see if theres any offers?

I'm not wanting to make a profit off anyone on here but i paid 80quid for them from Nick and it'd be nice to get that back...

?

Pic of one of the wheels i have unwrapped - condition is very good..black marks are not scatches but appear to be greese or similar...will come out with wheel cleaner i think. Other wheel is in similar condition...not had the time to unwrap it though (going on sellers pics)...IIRC it has a silver rim on it unlike this one.

GG: well they're the colour that prima made them in...looks to me to be a pretty good match (they're not overly gold like some) but i guess it comes down to personal opinion!

KS: i can't say for sure but i'd expect they would...think i have seen some with a mix of speedline and primas on their willy before...all using OE caps.

No offers?

I know theres a few people wanting to have their speedlines refurbed - you could use these while yours are away getting done or for track wheels??

I have just fitted a set of the 15" prima wheels and fitted the original speedline centres to them ok. They look original though I guess they are a bit heavier than the original speedlines.

It is a good way of refurbing original wheels and keeping the car on the road meanwhile.

I am having the originals shotblasted, then rims polished, then sprayed with rims masked and then laquered.

Incidentally there is good advice elsewhere to NOT use proprietary wheel cleners on these painted alloys as the acid in them simply strips the paint.

Use soap and water to clean them.

good luck and hope this helps a sale.
