One of my rear brake pads decided to fall out when I took someone for a test drive today  I changed the wheel bearing the other day, so I had to remove the pads and caliper. I did exactly what it said in the hanynes manual, and refitted the retaining plate and spring clip which holds the pads in....but today one of the fell out. Have I missed something out? Looks like i'll need a set of new pads and a retaining plate and spring .....anyone know if you can buy the plate and spring clip from a local motor factors...or would I have to get them from another car? brakes international in Rochdale sell them. I paid £6 for the clips and retainers. they have an online shop.

Kits like £20 from renault, not worth it for just a few clips!! Mat Brown sorted me out last time for not much money.

For £6 you might as well get the new ones.
