I have just bought my girlfriend a megane coupe driving it other night have noticed that it revs to around 7.2rpm and does not hit a wall like my williams. Does anybody no if the ecus are the same and if her car has been chipped also is it possible to swap the ecus

The megane runs a different type of ecu which is not interchangable dirrectly with a williams (Megane runs twin coil no distributor Williams ecu is only set up for one coil) plus other engine management differences with sensors.

no prob justin, glad your car is getting fixed, i hear you have a dodgy steering rack, the place behind the shell garage will weld it for £30 thats where i got phils dun, then they put it through an mot so you waont have a problem getting on after its been welded.

Phils just jealous cos my car actually goes.....
