Good job getting a phase2 model as well as the phase 1 engines are prone to bottom end failure.

well i hope i dont get much hassle with it, but im keeping it standard.
Most commern faults are: coilpack, anti rollbar bushes, wear on steering wheel.
Get a puma gear knob for it, such a small thing but feels so much better for changes.

i picked up the car last night, i was impressed with everything on it. No rattles, harsh suspension, skipping cd player, no high cost fuel bills.
No disrespect to the clio it was a nice car but i 100% prefer the fiesta.
pass me the cloth cap, leather driving gloves , pipe and the worther's origianals in the glove box
funny u should say coil pack dan....our kids has just gone....3rd time lucky from the scrap yards !!!!
Yeah they seem to eat them :(
Mine went shortly after i sold my 1.6 engine to someone in london!
The box feels so much smoother than my 106 gti's ever did, the valver feels nicer than the gti but hasnt got anything on the old ZS.
Wazza, if u feel like spending some money on the ZS, get a bluefin. Proven 5-7bhp increase at our RR day and increased fuel economy. These run fine with just a cat-back and filter or no mods!, and also have a money back guarantee if your not happy with it. They also do a good job at smoothing out the rev range :)
