Are any valver ECU's inter changable? I have an early ph1 valver with ABS and want to buy a spare ECU to chip, will anyone work properly?

Also how hard is it to manually fit a chip? Do all chips need to be soldered in?

Has to be a ph1 chip as far as I'm aware. All the Ph2 chips are specific to the car and I know that you can't use a ph2 ECU in another ph2, but not sure about a ph2 in a ph1. I have a ph1 ECU for sale if you want one ;)
