no need to get a performance clutch if you don't plan on any extra power, standard clutch will last ample time mate

nick read has ran performance clutches and burnt them out on a regular basis...up 2 200 bhp i'd run standard valeo/sachs clutch

I'm running a Sachs power clutch at the moment and have been suitably impressed so far. Having said that my old standard Willy clutch lasted until 75k miles of very hard road driving and around 40odd track days. It takes a very good clutch to put up with that sort of abuse.
The Unipart clutch I had fitted after the Renault one wore out lasted 2 track days and around 5k miles before the springs went.
I remember speaking to Nick Hill a few years back and he said the Renault unit was extremely strong as standard and rarely needed uprating.
ive ended up getting a k-tec group n clutch .. and my mate charged me 100 squid to fit it aswell i thought that was a spot on :P
