abs sensor

just fitted a new abs sensor to the front o/s wheel but the abs light
is still on in the dash

any ideas on how to put it out (and no i'm not taking the bulb out :lol: )

clean all 4 abs rings on the brakes and driveshafts....works for me in the past.

Think rust plays havok with the sensor.

I hope u got a good price on the sensor from renault !!! :shock:

the car has been standing for a while, while i have been repairing bits and pieces but i have painted all the underneath of the arches and driveshafts subframe etc so would paint on the rings cause this problem of the light staying on

have not touched the rear's yet though

abs sensor i had off my mate that works in GMF motor factors and he got me a genuine one for £35.25 and that is inc the vat 8)
