Williams Downpipe..Where from? Powerflow?

Unfortunately it sounds as if my Williams needs a new downpipe..

I've posted a wanted ad here - But are they not available new from anywhere (other than Renault maybe - how much?)? I am looking for a standard fit replacement ideally - I know you can get full systems etc but I dont need one, nor want to be spending that much money.

Has anyone tried somehere like Powerflow to make one up for them? I'd have thought somebody like Ashley would do a cheap replacement.

Why dont you weld the downpipe, I got mine welded no worries

why do you need a new downpipe mate??

as monkey says get it welded.


i snapped one completely racin a corsa 2.0 turbo outta york....just where the flange meets the manifold...zorst was hangin off for the 80ish mile trip home...was fun lol.


got it welded up...no probs..

i also had to have my spare welded as well.after another snapping incident lol.


most common place for the std willy downpipe/manifold to break is where the collectors meet comin off the mani. usually on the inside, 10 mins with a grinder/dremel an a welder n itl be spot on again.

I guess I dont need a new downpipe then - I thought having it welded might be considered a bit of a bodge, and since I've not had the Willy long didnt want to make a mistake in that respect.

Hi.. not meaning to be stupid, but what is 'Dialogys'? I assume it's a parts datebase (Renault or other?) and your brought up the code for a Williams downpipe? Do you know a price?

yes its a parts database, though a little out of date


217.30 is the price i got. you'd have to add VAT on that to get a more accurate price. but gives you a rough idea

possibly. may be able to get a stainless manifold made aswell ?? not sure on custom system pricings tho mate sorry
