my williams 3 just failed the MOT as they say th n/s/f hose is split through to the canvas.also the other side is starting to perish. they said was a common problem on renaults. they they easy to change was thinking of doing it myself???and how much r renault hoses or is it worth just uprating to goodridge ones?

just managed to get both front hoses from halfords for £10 was supposed to be £30 but they reduced them down for me :). garage wants 320 a side to fit them is that expensive?how easy r they to do yourself?

buy a 'ezi-bleed' kit from gsf and some replacement fluid and do it yourself mate it's easy to do

i would but when i take the old hose off will fluid just piss out the pipes?do i just have to put new one on as quick as i can?>

to be honest mate your better off draining the old fluid out anyway and using fresh fluid.
yes you would get fluid coming out so you would need to put a tub underneath to catch the running fluid jus make sure it doesn't make contact with you paintwork as it will **** it up to put in bluntly but it's easy to do mate! be cheeky and go in halfrauds and look at the haynes manual on it then casually walk out :D

i used to work at halfords mate so they dont mind me doing it anyway i always go there and use their tools too. ats have said they will do it all for £ 30 so might just get them to do it

well for £30 you may as well let someone else do the donkey work seen as it will cost you about £20 to do it yourself mate :)
oh and go back to the garage and ask him how the **** he gets £320 a side from the robbing bastard!

oh yeah :oops: still expensive at that though seen as a mainstream garage will do it cheaper! they usualyy try to pull your pants down on prices
