we use mobil 1 0-40,never have any oil loss. :lol:

best thing to do is try a few, you'll get a mixed response off here cos it seems to be down to personal preference.

This question comes up at least once a week!

i always stick with good old 10-40, either total or silkolene stuff.

A nice Fully Synthetic oil such as Silkolene or Motul.

5w-40, 10w-40 or if you have a higher mileage car a 10w-50.

Oh, Holl,

mines about to tick over 105k

Well mines over 120k so I would call that high mileage. Usually anything over 110k in my book is high, but I mean they are old cars. But different people class high mileage differently don't they. :)

FAF! Ironically the temps were lower with that stuff - wasn't in long though... Good old vauxhalls best now :lol:
