Right,

Ive been offered some renault 19 leather seats, front and rear for my valver.

What modification needs to be done to make them fit or will they bolt straight in?

Is it an easy job or a tricky thing?

Oh..and opinions please on leather interior..ive been uming and ahhing for a while about this????

There used to be a guide on clio sport

Bit of guess work

Front seats need the runners swaping for clio items and it's a case of stripping the back seats and bastardising the 2

I try'd :D ....might all be bull tho

Right,

Ive had a look on cliosport and you have to pay and join to look at the thread, no way guys!

Some people say that the 19 leather fronts drop straight in some say you need to swap the runners?

The rears, apparently you have to trim some metal? Tricky?

Cheers

Not there anymore :x

The runners will depend on what 19 they came from ie 3 or 5 door iirc

Sure someone will be along to shed some light soon

I had some R19 Black leather in my hybrid before, and I just dropped the front ones in without the runners. The rears on the other hand are a different kettle of fish! I had to remove the leather and foam, the cut the foam down on each side, and also the metal frame too.....cut my hands to shreads! Just a matter of trial annd error as to how much you take off. Also you have to make some holes in the bottom for the two metal things that stick up under where the seat goes. In the end they did look very nice....but its a lot of hassle and the leather seems to become loose after a short time and you have to put it back on the frame again. You also have to swap the back rest frame and foam over with a valver one. Hope that helps. Matt
