Anyone got any ideas on how I can strip the red paint off the new car's calipers without too much bother or without damaging anything?

Paint stripper?
they fitted on the car or off the car ?
do they need reconditioning ?
sand blast them then rebuild them?
or Nitromorse then parts cleaner.

With great difficulty! I tried doing this a while back, bought the strongest paint stripper they had in B&Q (had a environmental warning on the back) and it didn't do a thing :( even left it on for 48hrs!
Though I rung this company who recommended this stuff
http://www.stripperspaintremovers.com/products.htm#d
But no guarantee it would work :( If not could try a electric sander?

All sounds like bad news. I'm thinking just swap them over between cars now!

Or best bet would be paint over them to be honest?
