Got my valver engine for sale, which was taken out of my valver when i dropped the willy engine in it.

Had absolutely no problems with the engine whatsoever, extremely smooth engine, always started first time, and the tappets are NOT NOISY AT ALL! 'AmirClio' will second that.

Unfortunately i have got no idea of the mileage, the shell has done 120k, however the engine is a re-con, so it's not the original engine from the car. It has done less than 100k as it just runs far too smooth to have done more.

Doesn't burn much oil at all, oil pressure was always 1.5bar at idle, and 3bar when driving at around 70mph. Oil temp was 100*C normal driving.

The only reason i took it out is because the gearbox went.

I'm only selling the engine with loom (already connected up). ECU can also be supplied with the engine, otherwise i'll sell that seperately.

Gearbox is fooked so i can either leave it on and you can have it, or i can take it off. Clutch is also soaked in gearbox oil so that needs replacing too.

Recently had new cambelt and new headgasket in the last 12 months, invoice to prove, as well as a full service. Rocker cover gasket is fairly new too. It doesn't leak any oil.

Power steering pump has whined slightly ever since i've owned the car (2 years), but it has never got any worse and the power steering was fine.

ALL sender units work fine, oil level, oil pressure, and oil temp. Very rare on valver engines now.

Never had a problem with the alternator.

I think i've given as much detail as possible! It's just sitting in my garage at the minute so you will need an engine crane to collect.

Here's a couple of pics:

Looking for £150 OVNO, due to it being such a mint engine. Offers welcome.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the manifold you can see in the pic above is NOT included. This will be removed before the engine is sold.

Update:

The only damage to the engine/loom is shown in the following pic:

This is the cable leading to the lambda sensor. Easily fixed by either placing some new connectors on the cables, or using some electrical tape to pink them together.

I also have the F16ie cover and the engine mount cover.
