taken the time over the winter break to spray up these.
perfect in everyway. no dirt dust or blemishes on the surface.
this is no spray in the can jobby, this is etched, primed, akzo noble 95m silver, and top coat lacquer 6 times. ideal for shows.

if anyones interested in me spraying theirs its £80.

you know the top cover - if you remove it and swap it you don't expose anything that a numpty could break can you?

I really want to do both of these but am a bit concerned about undoing them and putting them back on!

plus I need spares

buy some and do an exchange service!

You take the spark plug cover off, then pull the plug leads off and oil cap and undo the 3 bolts to take the plastic plug guides out. The theres about 8 bolts down each side of the cam cover and another 10 or so in the middle. Take all those out and then you have to lift the rear of the cover slightly then slide it out. You need a new gasket to put it back on.

Going to be doing mine soon.

Can't decide what colour though.

I have Hill Power Hoses, so was gonna do it the same blue, but might do it Naples or Ford Zinc yellow

silver goes with anything you may do to your car.
its also keeping in character to the orignal look.
silvers best IMO :)

Jase, Pikie is a spunky munky, an he likes things kinda funky! LOL

He has no idea on the clean/original look that we like so much. If he did he would have bought one in a decent colour like 449!

Although proper powder coating is where its at, thats what we're doing. we can get em sprayed in standox 2 pac for next to nowt.

Pikie, go Ford Cortina Oragne! he he

depends on the colour of your car and the rest of your bay i think mate, the only things i'm having blue in mine are the strut brace and cam cover, rest is standard, my car is blue though.

This is the finished product.. only took a day so doubt it will last.

I did one this weeked too, but camera batterys are dead.

Had a semi polished raised part and the rest is a matt black looks good in my opinion.
