Baggy clutch??

If I press my foot lightly on the clutch, it moves down an inch or two, then goes stiff.

Does this mean a worn cable or ratchet??

mine does it too and mines a new clutch

Yeah, my actual clutch is new, just wondering if the pedal or ratchet are shagged

well mines done it for a year since the new clutch, mu suspicions is the cable may be work a little as the cable wouldnt 'bounce' like it does unless the cable needed pulling round.. but i'll wait until it snaps to find out lol i've got a brand spanking clutch cable that i always carry in my boot anyway so i'm prepared :D
