Here you go pics of my willy 2 which I bought at the end of Nov, it's a little dirty but had to them for my insurance so i thought I'd post them here.

61K 2 lady owners (one was the wife of a Renault dealership owner) so as you can image much love and never thrashed. Basically it had driven round surrey and that's about it. Pretty much mint, alloys pretty much perfect and not even a parking ding.

One things that I find a little strange is hat it has the stereo controls on the steering wheel and rear speakers which I didn't think the 2 had?

Where are the williams "2" badges?? :?

Yeah odd about the stero bits tho, could have been a factory option that got fitted, although its defo got the early clocks in it... eagle eyes me

As far as I know and I asked the previous owner it never had the "2". I guess they were removed by the first owner.

was 1st owner the dealers wife? she cud of had extra bits done by request like added rear speakers n control on column and had the 2's removed? in which case its totally unique willy 2! 8)

That was my guess that these were done as a special by the dealership for the wife. "2"s are easy to remove but the other bits must have been options.

Willy 2's did have rear speaker as far as i'm aware...

I miss my controls so much I'm getting the bits together to put them back in!

Yep it's got a magnex replacement from cat back but that's an upgrade over the standard system as far as I'm aware / read. It was recomended to the previous owner by Renault.

My ph2 16v had the audio colum thing under the window wiper control? Is this an option then? thought it was standard!

looking lovely there buddy, keep it like that buddy!

Only thing is, it looks as though you could do with letting some coolant, as it's past the max in that expansion bottle.......but at least the right colour though!!!

very nice mate

a few williams 2's are just badged as williams - probally to do with replacment stickers or the fact that they wanted the 2 to be a one lol when it first came out as the second run of what was to be 3.

Morning All,

Well there seems to be a lot of interest in my coolant, all I can add is that it's just been serviced and thats how it came back to me from the garage. I have driven 200 miles this weekend and it's fine. As someone has already eloquently said coolant is coolant....

In response to the G60 Golf / Williams question although I never thought I say this...I completely won over by the little blue wonder. It's a much nicer drive it's so much more agile and responsive.. You do have to rev it harder that the G60 as there isn't the same sort of low down grunt but the fact that it's smaller, lighter makes driving so much more fun.

Always loved VW's and they are put together very well but it's a different drive altogether, the clio may fall apart sooner but as a second car I have the clio any day.
