What's the best method of doing this guys?
I was thinking wire bruch on a drill/dremel and then lots of metal polish.
wouldnt mind knowing this one myself . . . .
might be easier with a bench grinder with a wire brush on for the larger areas and just the drill for the tricky bits
quickest, sanding star on power drill(less likely to get dints/spots where u lean to hard on the drill!)
best finish - all by hand down to 2000 grit paper
once its all sanded down use autosol to get it to shine up, done!
its a wall ache... it WILL take you days and when you start you'll wish you hadn't ;)
its casr so you'll have to grind it flat first then wet n dry and all through the grades (like coops said) then cotton mop with compound then autosole

Well I have a spare one so I might as well. What's a sanding star? Is that one of those wheels with loads of sanding squares attached?
