Hi,

I've recently sold my mint honda crx vtec & i'm looking to replace it with maybe a clean williams.

pic of my crx:-

I have a budget of about 3k, will i get a clean williams for 3k? I could stretch the budget for a mint example! I have a heated garage so the car would be well looked after (use a Focus for everyday stuff).

Other cars i'm considering are:-

Golf gti 16v
Corrado vr6
205 gti
325i sport (nearer 4k for a clean one!)
Fiesta rs turbo / rs1800

Cheers,

Mike

Nice CRX 8)

You'll get a nice Williams for £3k mate. Just don't get the first one you see (unless it's mint), as they vary massively in the way they drive and also condition-wise.

All those other cars would be a good shout as well. Just make your way through the list and you won't have to miss out on any of them :D

Yeah I would hold on and wait for the right one, I looked a 4 or 5 before I bought mine at the end of Nov and to be honest it's genuinely the best example I've seen. No. 2 with 60K 2 lady owners and meticulus SH, not even a parking ding for 3K.

The ones I looked at ranged from a 1 with 100,000K for £2.5K, two no.3 with 45kish at £4,000 - one of these was reduced to £3,200 before it sold.

They are out there....again though depends on demand and the sellers urgency to sell.

P.S. Pictures of mine to follow once I get a dry day...

I'm in no rush to buy & would rather wait for the right car, but i don't want the money sitting in my bank account for too long! I'm a spender not a saver!!
