mine was pretty noisey on this grade. suppose good for high oil temps, as the oil pressure will remain better than w40, but mine sounded like a bag of nails in winter with it.

might well order some for summer use.

ye sthink its designed for high temp use and keeps working at high temps and doesnt turn to dishwater.............

I've reverted to running 10-w40 semi and change it after every trackday.

If you're oils getting too hot then get a bigger oil cooler, don't put oil in that takes the heat better, fix the problem not the symptoms

aim for oil temps 95-105deg coolant 75-85deg

I have to duck tape my oil cooler over for road use (large 13 row mocal) and even on tight circuits like anglesey it was creeping up a bit high.

I have an oil cooler ready to be fitted to my car with a thermostat so i can adjust it to suit the required operating temp.

The pro race oil spec list is here, designed for high performance engines and is ESTER based so wont break down as easily as standard oils.
