is it the top part in the footwell that u weld, or the bit at the bottom by the steering rack?

Also, my steering wheel (airbag version) is about 45 degrees to the left at the moment. Can i just take it off, turn it a bit and refit it, then it will be straight again? Or do i need to take column apart then refit it?

Thanks guys

James

weld - inside car, lift boot around column just before bulkhead, under there is universal joint, weld that

steering wheels - 2 torx screws hold front of wheel on, they are on the back of the wheel on left and right sides. whip them out n ease front off gently, unclip wire from front and remove totally. undo steering wheel hub nut, take of wheel and rotate to correct orientation, refit!
