When i had them on my 1.2, i put the tweeters inside the speaker grills on the dash with them facing towards the driver.
Sounded good.

Well that was my initial plan as it looks 100% standard then but with the crossover it means either way I'm going to have to run some new cable through the door loom to the door - is that rubber tubing hollow enough to accept another cable?

When i installed mine i put the crossover box inside the dash speaker grill area.
Then i used a drill and drilled out the unused part of the door loom connectors, and then taped the cable to a screwdriver and fed it through.
Was fiddly though as the plastic inside isnt very well secured.
Worked though and kept the oe look.

4" midrange inside the existing dash positions (with the rear blocked off). Tweeters sitting on the extreme ends of the dashboard. Using focal drivers for both and powered by headunit. Kenwood powered 8" tube sub in the boot. Never really quite like the sound much, but the Williams for driving anyway.

On a previous Clio i had, I cut 2 perfect holes on the top panel of the dash (easy to remove to make the holes) and pushed the tweeters into the holes. Easy to run the wires, looks neat and doesnt attract unwanted attention. I am now running a 100% standard audio system besides a budget cd player
