Boo, shame I'm not a member, I need 5l of that exact Oil. Looks like I'll have to pay full whack.

(Unless you can just stick me on to make up the numbers. Overlook the fact I ain't a "proper" member. :P Go on, new year and all that. ;) )

I will need some once I start tracking my hybrid. Am i correct in thinking, it is not advised for normal road use? It doesn't heat up as much as 10W40 which is obviously why you use it on the track?

I hope not, mine is for normal road use. I don't see why it can't be used for normal driving, I mean it has all the protection of any other oil from cold, etc, PLUS it won't degrade at high temps which should mean it'll last a good long time.

Or am I wrong? Lol. :D

you can use this on road or track, its just a better formula for when you use the car on track as your getting the engine a lot hotter than standard road use!!

Unless your a nutter

We use Opie oils on the SXOC, and Silkolene pro is considered one of the best shear stable oils :)

Well worth it if you value your engine. (i have some sitting in the garage ready to change).

Mine went in the other week, everything seems good. :D Slightly off topic, but the garage that did the oil and filter change for me said that 5l was not enough?! I thought it was??? (I'm sure the Haynes says like 4.5l)

mine takes about 5.5 on a oil change.
