i need more help ive got the dash loose so will come out, what i need to know is how to get the heater matrix out :) ?
Do i have to disconnect the pipes where they go from the engine into the bulkhead? :?
Also is it just the matrix that slides out? it looks like its held by four clips? or do i have to take the whole thing out( the bit its sat in?) and seperate it out of the car. :?

i need as much help as possible

many thanks 8)

take off your steering wheel and when i had my last dash off you had to like lift it off some studs so pull it kinda up and towards you, the main parts holding it on are like studs.

also take out any speakers you might have in the side pods as these will still be connected ect :D

havent done a matrix so thats end of my help really

Jeezzz its not really that difficult, take the 4 mounting bolts off, obvously the dash isn't gonna come offd with teh steering wheel in place and just pull teh thing, if it won't come in one area have a looka nd see what elese is holding it on be it bolts or clips....and read the haynes manual

Take the whole blower unit out, read teh haynes manual again it telsl you step by step what has to come out, ie waiper assembly.....and yes i'd guess you do have to take the pipes from teh engine bay off, otherwise how will the heater matrix come out?

Are you sure you are competant(sp) enough to be doing this job?

one of the last jobs i did on my valver took a good three hours or just over, well worth it, many hidden screws etc, id hate to explain how to do one! dash hasnt got to come right out though just need to be able to pull it back out the way, without pulling any wires etc
