Could anybody advise me on how much a williams 2 with only 6 thousand miles (not 60,000 miles) in astonishing condition is worth with one owner from new.

hello and welcome to the club.

depends on a few factors...if its in showroom condition then it will be worth the same as if it was new (or the highest price the seller wants for the car)....i know people will pay good money for a show piece.

But accident damage and replacement parts will affect its value...whats the story behind the car and why is it for sale ?

Its worth what you or someone else is willing to pay. I would say upwards of £5k, possibly even £7kish but it is a very limited market at those price ranges.

I assume it has paperwork to support the mileage?

I know my williams as I currently have a minted williams series one but it has highish miles so was considering buying this one and selling mine.

I know the bloke through a friend and he has confirmed that it is the genuine milage. What do u think. Is a car will such low mileage subject to problems as its mot in use every day.

Shouldnt be any major probs unless its been stood still for a long time and exposed to the elements.

We recently sold an absolutely mint 1992 JDM WRX Impreza with only 8k miles on from new and 1 previous owner in Japan. The whole car looked and drove like new.

Id probably pay 10k now for it, if i had the funds available, and if it was as mint as it should be.

Dunno know if i'd personally pay 10k for a willy 2 with 6k on the clock, but I might do for a Willy 1, espeacially if it had a cool number like 0002

Low mileage doesn't make it mint though sadly..

Condition is definetly more important than mileage with these cars..

Mate at 6k its hardly been on the road, you honestly think someone will have kept it outside for 10 years?

Lets get real. We all know it will be mint.

I wonder how many really low mileage Williams are about? I might have to keep a reserve pot of cash just incase a mint low milage Williams 1 comes up. Or if 0002 comes up for sale :D

I have seen the willy 2 and I couldn't get over its condition, the under chassie hasn't any rust, and it still has the original philips tape cassette radio and smells of new and stored in a heated double garage. I am a bit of a fanatic and my current willy series 1 has no rust not even on the arches.

One secret i'll let you all in on is to get a pair of rubber mud flaps for the front ( not renault ones) and this stops the lower door and rear arch flares from getting damaged. I've had my willy for 6 years and have loved every minute of it. Make sure to get a wet cloth into the rear arches to clean away the crud buildup.

What a car. Any have any of any spare speedlines for sale.

Thinking about it, if Paul Mitchells 4000 mile car was up for sale at 7k, i reakon this one cant be worth more than 5k.
