Hello there, i was thinking about getting some bucketseats for the hybrid but the only problem is that the seats have sidemounts. Is there a way of using the existing seat runners to make the seats side back and forth to allow passenger to get in the back.

I did have an ideal of welding a section of plate on the botton of the mounting bracket , and then bolt to the runner.

is this possible or am i going to make a a major boo boo?

cheers nick

and happy new year to you lot.

If you want seats to slide etc tehn get bottom mount seats, i ahve cobra monaccos that are very good you buy mounts and tehy bolt to the existing runners that tilt and slide, but in all honesty if you want peopel int eh back then buckets aren't really for you are they

I don't think there's a way of making sidemounted seats tilt and slide unless its a one off DIY effort.

Just tell people to walk, take the back seats out then there's no arguements anyway ;)

right ive been having a little think about how the hell im going to fit the bucketseats, i was thinking of using the existing subframes and bolt a section of steel which will extend to the runners, then by drilling holes i can bolt into were the existing fixing points

sound ok?
