Followed gunners guide for the speedo wobble fix so i thought i would add pics to assist anyone else.

Firstly this is the location of the speedo cable if you dont already know.

The cable has two clips on each side. Squeeze these together and pull!

To get the pliers in you have to remove the plastic retaining clip . This pulls straight out with the cable but this is what it looks like in situe. When refitting note it can only go in one way as there are grooves in the shaft.

Now you can get the needle pliers in and pull the plastic shaft out. This takes a lot of swearing and brute force which is why gibbo got his misses to do it

Refit with the new part as above in reverse.

Hope this is of some use!

The new part did not solve my wobble 100% but from 30mph is like a new car. IMO is well worth the effort! :D

Most will need new cable in all honesty as the edges get rounded off over time. I too replaced splined thing as above and too need a new cable to completely eliminate wobble.
