my heaters only work on full whack, they click on all the different stages but only blow air on number 3, is it just a new switch or something else?

Maybe it's because it's a willy 3? :D

It wasnt a dig at willy 3's, just the fact that it is a willy 3 and the heater only blows on 3...

i had this problem kinda in my old clio. i changed the matrix, some resistor swith n everything. then someone said change the actual heater control panel and it fixed it!!

Will be one of three things.
Either the plug has burnt out at the back of the control panel,
The plug into the motor could be burnt out or a loose connection,
Or you need a new dropper resistor.

Same thing is wrong with mine, only setting 3 works :( I replaced the resistor last year, and most of the cable leading to it as it was burnt! Anyway to check which one of those 3^^ it is? ie would the resistor look burnt?

If you have already chenged the resistor, trying wiggling the plug with the fan on, if it comes on you have a loose connection, just close the gaps up a bit on the plug.

Yeah i had the problem on my old clio and the plug to the back of the control panel was burnt out! I only fixed it when the blowers didnt work atall (which wasnt fun this time last year with lots of icy mornings!)

tell me about it mate. ive gone though without since i bought the williams in september, just been lazy in trying to sort it

wasnt sure if it could be the same problem as the R5's where the fan motors used to die
