A previous owner of my car has bodged the wiring looms in my doors so i bought second hand ones to go in. took the old one out of the drivers side and found that it has two plugs onto the door lock, one a two pin grey and the other a 4 pin black.

The problem is the looms i bought have two plugs, a two pin grey but a 2 pin black instead of 4 pin. I think the new looms are for a ph1 clio and mine is a ph2.

Does any body know if this is the only difference because im wondering if it is better to modify the loom using the old wiring or just get some ph2 looms

Cheers

Have you got 2 the same side?
As the plugs are different on each side.

No the passenger one only has one plug for the electric window switch whereas the drivers has three so ive defo got a pair but the two central locking plugs on both sides are the same. Im just wondering what the difference is between the central locking system on a ph1 and a ph2?

I have never seen any difference in the central locking mechanisms between phases.
