Apparently, my cambelt idler had failed, best get on the blower to Gates and let them know their product failure has just cost them 550quid

brought me a headlight that was made in Taiwan for my german car!!
Needless to say it is NOT going on the car, and he's now paid up to have it done proper.

Hmmm, wouldn't mind hearing from him, see how he got on.
So, I had to drive home with no airbox as the PHs 1 has sensors on the head that the PHs2 doesnt, so need to drill more holes in the box.
Doesn't feel as pokey as the other lump though. Slight hesitation at low revs. But need to give it a full service before I open it up fully
