noise like spectrum loading from alarm

woke up this morning to strange noise, thought it was neighbours alarm, but after a while realised it might be mine.

turns out battery very flat and same old story of not holding a charge after 5 days of not use.

ive had new battery, alternator checked, new earth leads and point. im now convinced to get the alarm ripped out.

i disconnected the battery and the noise still came out from the alarm, didnt disappear till i turned the siren off with key.

questions.

which alarm to get? which not to get?
how much to remove existing alarm (i want to keep imobiliser, which i believe is seperate)?
what to look for after getting gearbox earth redone?

I had a Meta alarm fitted to my last valver. Was a good alarm except for the fact that you would have to check that it locked the doors and didnt just flash the hazards :roll: Alarms are anoying I only have an immobiliser on mine. If you got no rear seats or big bass box then you won't need an alarm, that is my theory anyway lol
