Got my sexy new eagle f1's fitted today - monster transformation in the car already! (thanks to Chris n`nic for suppying them) - makes me think how rubbish and dodgy the f1s were that I had on my old wheels....

Anyhoo - all balanced up and ready to go but I've been to 3 garages today an no-one can do my tracking - apparently because of how low the car is at the front I need to get the tracking done on rollers and not in the usual way?

Basically does anyone know local to myself (as local as possible really) where they have rollers so I can get it done - I'd rather it all be spot on so I can test the tyre wear over these boots and see if Its worth getting the camber adjusted.

Ta!

go see bayliss in middlesborough mate, know its a bit of a journey but i go to see him whenever i need my tracking done as its 4 weel alignment stuff and its always spot on. people tell you its too low because they cant be arsed to do it! its total shit half the time, i went to 2 garages in sheffield and they told me mine was lowered when its std height and they wouldnt touch it!

Ooooer!

While your there does changing springs on a car for example alter the tracking? should I wait till I've had the new springs on before coming over?

Its the last thing I'm doing to the front of the car, brakes, tyres etc have all been done..

Has anyone ever tried following this procedure for setting the centre point?

If you do what it says it seems unable to get the steering wheel to lock "looking" like its in the middle to me... very odd. :?
