my dad rececently had some points on his lisence. they are written on by hand in blue biro. does this make any difference to them being legal or not? seen as usually when you take them off you have to pay an admin charge and surely in this case they woulod only need to use some tipex! you could claim someone wrote them on as a joke also if questioned. seems strange as they are usually printed on.

I've got some that are hand-written - as far as I know it's only really to show people who are looking at the paper version? I'd imagine there's a bit central database now...

With regards to getting them removed from your licence, they'd make you send it in and pay for a new photocard job. (Personally I'd rather not, so mine are staying on my licence... Be proud! lol)

I've got hand written points from the court that issued them... They still count I'm afraid
