my old cunt with -35mm springs so i'd say yes on the back but no on the front - remember that back looks ghey and makes the front look lower than it really is...

how can you say 1 click ? you can take the torsion bar right out an spin it around

and i'd say standard at front and lowered 35 or 40mm at the rear on the ebay ad matt

You take the torsion bar out and adjust the arm by a spline - ie 1 click!

I've done about 6 torsion bars on clios.

ive always just removed the torsion bar and adjusted the arm to the height i want and put the torsion bar back in! set it to pretty much the exact mm difference u want!

thats a crap way of doing it though. Using that way you can only adjust it by about 30mm at a time but if you just remove it, adjust hub height and put it back in you can set it to any height you want (or about 3mm intervals to be exact).

thats what i do,i expose the splines with the arm suspended, raise the arm and slide the bar back in,how can that be crap?,thats how its stated on the guides.

so why are you talking about that being lowered by 1 click. That suggests you can lower it a minimum of about 30mm, which is absolute bollocks.

ok

the bar will only go back in between the splines,it has to locate somehow.

it wont just go in wherever.

I know it won't go in anywhere but what happens is you can partly put it in then by raising/lowering the hub by a few mm and pushing inwards it WILL go in properly so to say 1 click isn't accurate using that method.

it is around 25 mm a spline.i know this.

lol, are you saying that you can't adjust it by less than 25mm?

Lee Keefy

i've never known it,splines will only locate within each other, what may only be 3mm at the spline turns out to be a lot more by the end of the arm.

you can definately adjust it by about 3mm at the wheel. I've adjusted mine quite a few times and it's only been by about 5 or 10 mm each time. It seems to be a common myth that it can only be adjusted by "clicks" which are about 20 or 30mm each even among people who have done it but it's possible to do it by as much as you want tbh.
