Is there any reason a phase 2 valver ECU will not work on a phase 1 valver? I know the Ph 1 ecu works on the ph 2 as had it running on it today. But the Ph2 valver ecu wont work on the Ph 1?

I'm not sure if this Ph1 valver has a willy ecu or what I should be looking for to identify if it has and if this is possibly why it wont run on the Ph2 valver one, as the engine is an F7R?? Cant see that would be the problem but exploring all possibilities.

I'm thinking it may be something to do with the immobiliser, and if there is a variation between the years?

Any shed of light or information would be appreciated.

phase 2 has immobiliser code on i'd guess, so needs a phase 2 loom to work

Surely there are companies that can unlock the immobiliser function via some electrofantastrickery?

Not that i know off

It's works using a matching sendor unit both built into the loom and ECU's
