anyone know what exactly is involved getting a set
of 19 16v seats in to a mk3 1.8 rsi ??

Do you mean MK1 Phase 3???

If you do, I'm sure the front seats are the same.....and bolt straight in, but the rear bench is too wide, You would need to remove the leather cover, and foam then shorten the metal frame, weld up, cut foam to fit then either cut or stretch the leather to fit.

IMO...not worth the hastle, just but the clio stuff.

i did not think that much of work was involved .

which clios came with balck leather than ?

they made some clios with grey leather i think. i have some 19 black leather seats and i was going to use the leather of the back bench to re-apulster my cloth seats but decided it was to much hasle.

Gray leather was a option on the 16v's iirc.

I have seen a few Clio's with black leather, just not sure if black was an option or if they all would have come from the 19.

its all different i have a set out of my williams and the fronts and rears have been profesionally converted, they are on the for sale section under pthev.
