In theory....

a 195 is wider but shorter that a 185 which thinner but fatter correct?

so swapping to a 185 would raise the front end a tad would it not? and as its a tad thinner would that not help it sit in the arch better away from the arch?

but thinking on those terms isn't it exactly the same then? the height of the 185 would hit the arch around the same time as a shorter but fatter 195!

lol I give up

all I want for christmas is a less bumpy ride and a tad higher on the front!!!

yeah it would.

i noticed running 55 thickness semi slicks at cadwell raised my track car up a little.

185 profile will be slightly further in the arch but the 55 thickness will make the arch fuller, so tyre closer to arch lip, just not as far out - if you get me! :?

the 55 profile will be a little softer so you may notice this on hard corners, on my hybrid I run 13's and can only get decent compounds in 185 60 13 quite interesting the first time out but we buggered about with pressures to get comfortable with them.
