Fcking throttle cable???!

What a pain in the ass changing a throttle cable is!! I've finally got the new one in and round under all the stupid shit it has to go under in the engine bay, got the cable through the hole in the bulkhead, then got the gromit on by taking it off the plastic bit and pulling it through with a pair of plyers, but I can't tht stupid plastic bit behind the gromit to come through the bulkhead/gromit, how on gods earth is this meant to be done?? Thought it was a 30 minute job, its taken me all day :(

feed a peice of string through from inside the car. tie it to cable and yank!

Shame you pulled the old one out already cuz it's piss easy. Pu the new cable end-to-end with the old one, tape them together with loads of electrical tape and pull - or use string like Dave said. But since you didn't do that, good luck!!
