hi all

looking at some 17s for my clio...not a definate yet but will they fit with no scraping on my ph3 1.2?....soon to have front flared wings...and has been lowerd about 35 mm all round??

Dunno about the back as it wont have wider arches will it? 195's seem ok on the non-wide clio's but not too sure about anymore. Are they coming off another clio? The front should be fine I would guess though.

yes they are coming from another clio.... but a 16v one...so therfore the flared back arches...i was wondering if they will catch on the arches when ive got them on...

and alos is all handling going to go out the window with 17s?

A mate of mine has 17's on his mk1 RT and he just gets away with it I think. If they from another clio they will probably be the right offset but you'd be best tryin em before you buy em I think? Or go for 16's :D

will rub like fook on the rear when cars loaded i wud of thought, my old RT did and that was down 35mm on 15"s!!!! :shock:

My RT has speedlines on and they are fine, even with a full car and it's been dropped 40mm all round. Had to rip out a load of plastic from the inside of the rear arches though as when they first went on they were catching. My mate had some 17's on his mk2 and we held one up to my car and then laughed :D . It will look like a roller skate unless you lower it and if you do lower it i doubt you'll be able to have people in the back tbh. Talking of big wheels, did anybody see the pink clio at FCS with the 19' or 20's on?! Madness! :twisted:
