rear discs (non ABS TO ABS)

Hello there i have got a full set of k-tec discs and pads which i won on ebay, like a wally i forgot there for the non abs model, ive been told to remove the ABS ring off my existing discs and put them on the new set. Has anyone done this before and if im taliking balls just let me know.

Non of the discs come with the abs trigger wheel as far as ive seen.

Heat the trigger ring on the old discs up wi a blow torch, the hammer a chisel down the back of the ring, so as to force it off the disc body.

Then heat it up again, and pop it on the new disc...it will just drop on if hot enough, then cool down and it wont move.
