will putting a different manifold and a decat on the valver make any real difference?

Look at the performance figures of both and compare.

I've tried a williams manifold on mine an it is a bit more torquey but the valver one is better for overall power, unless you were thinking about a supersprint.

when ive said to anyone whats the best value mod to do to the valver most have said get a s.0l bottom end or a williams engine, but isnt any other things i can do, i just dont like the idea of engine swapping, especially when i come to sell. what should i do?

def do the de cat. Thats a cheap easy mod. Get a decent filter in your airbox. After that your looking at full stainless exhaust, you can go on and on but depends how much you want to spend.

imo not a HUGE difference....

but tbf *please dont shoot me**

the extra money a williams costs to a valver isnt justified by the 'extra' amount of fun a williams brings, you can have just a good time in a valver but not worry about wat breaks.

is there anyway to get a filter for performance that also gives the sound?

Induction kits I think. But they are pants when its warm.

In this weather I run my KnN.

yeah thats what i mean, with a hot engine bay open filters are a bad idea, but standard or closed filter dont make the noise, are there other filters like closed forced air iks that do?

not sure mate. there have been a few threads on here about forced intakes etc.

If you search the site there will be info on it I'm sure. Never tried one so cant really comment.

Had both a williams and sold it as i needed the cash now i have bought a valver as i miss it so much!

Not really much difference tbh and i would have been looking at twice the price for a comparative williams.

:D

i have both a valver(running 16v track and engine) and a williams, the williams is just better! not that the valver is crap, but the williams is just superior!

ask all the ppl who have fitted wide track and F7R's to valvers lol
