i think ive found a really well priced new runaround, but it hasnt got any tax or MOT. tax isnt a problem obviously (unless it hasnt got the V5), and of course i'll be giving it a througher once over and test drive to determin yes or no.
i was just wondering though, which is the best site to do hpi / write off / stolen / correct mileage checks etc?
or would you just not buy it without an MOT?
tbh wudnt buy without mot unless was a project car that u were gonna rip apart neway
Why not? Some good bargains to be had from cars with no MOT.
always a dodgy one really?? its touch and go really? you may get a bargain which will need nowt doin or it could be a right shitter!!! but offer peanuts for it mate, and do a thorough check over the car.

yeah i hope this is the one of them.
its a VW Polo 1.0, im hoping the fac its a VW means its going to be pretty reliable and not need to much work.
97 on an R, done either 57k or 67K and 2 owners inc current.
would still like a website that i could verify those details against though.
if its only done that mileage shud be okay maybe but imo its still a risk, i'd pay them 40 quid and get em to bung it thru an mot b4 u bought it. better than em mot'in it n chargin 200 quid more
yeah or ask for the failure slip if they have already put it through an its failed.
