going up, lol

My torque wrench only goes up to 210, so I did it to 210 (Had to stand on it!) plus a little bit more.

so damn tight seems to be the answer :D
o man i made some mess on the garage floor when i took that drive shaft boot out!**** 3 litres of fresh gearbox oil down the swanny.
ah well i suppose i can put in a better grade next time.
i still have to strip off the wishbone and arb bush's..more questions to follow..

I just did mine up as tight as possible with a breaker bar. At the time I only had a torque wrench that would go to about 150Nm or so, so I phoned a few garage to see if they would torque it up properly for me but without fail they all just said they do them up as tight as they can and don't bother torqueing them up.

Shouldnt leave a caliper dangling like that mate - does no good for the hose !!!!

Tie it up out of the way

I may do but I really have my work cut out with all the other stuff going on!Ktec seem to have a nice set for £45.

On another note is this where you fill the gearbox oil up?

Found a cool link for converting torque values.
here it is:

No fab take the airbox of the car and you should see a big plastic wingnut type plug, you fill it from there.
