IK relocation

Simple question, will my pipercross, open foam induction kit get destroyed if i relocated it down behind the front fog light hole? Obvoulsy with no fog light in there, and no shit guards, or would i be better blanking off hte fog light hole, and sticking the shit guards in and putting it down there

it will pick up a lot of dirt, water and other debris from other cars unless you protect it some how.

Been thinking about it today, what do you recon if i source some shit guards from somewhere and block the fog light hole off almost completely, just let a bit of air in, and the only way in will the upwards from below
