Im running standard shocks and new springs but ive got to give the springs back (long story)

My low days are over ...as ive fell in love with the Williams set up

The car is my Slag, track, A road basher

My ideas

172 Cup springs ?
Newish Wiliams springs ?
Custom ?

Need them ASAP tbh

Cheers
Winston

PS ..This post has been done 10000 times lol

Another standard suspension convert

If you need them asap, I think it's a case of whatever you can get your hands on first! Very unlikely you'll find some newish Willy springs, and custom ones cost quite a bit from my experience; so I guess either Cup or normal 172 springs would be the quickest and cheapest option?

Don't know what you mean! I was merely browsing through the posts, ready to dip into my vast mountain of useful knowledge on all things mechanically... as always.

hehe, I'm the same, the only experience I have is from things I have fixed on the Williams... really I should be a ****ing expert! lol

... and Winston... I'm shocked and impressed, always said the stock Willy setup is the best overall solution! I still really really miss the handling on them and the fact it is soo forgiving!

I would go for standard height springs which are 160lbs rather than the standard 125lbs.
To get rid of some of the roll which the standard springs have.

172 is white/white same as the williams and 16v.
172 cup is white/yellow.

Martin
