ive got myself another sparco pro 2000 seat but this ones made from carbon, my fiberglass one is base mountable so ive used a subframe with that but the carbon ones are only side mountable so i need to use the sidemounts that i got with it, so my question is how the hell do u fit sidemounts to the floor on the clio, anyone got pics?

looked and dont have any pics! :(

im sure someone on here does/did.

you take the old seat off, drill the sidemounts and bolt them to the raised bits the old seats bolt to. no need to drill thru the floor pan.

the raised runner bits are pretty solid, so if you use decent bolts and get it done up murder tight it will be spot on. i bolted a few bits of metal in for extra strength as well.

in an ideal world you should weld in box section and bolt to that.

*need to buy a welder first and stop borrowing my neighbours* LOL

I had some plates made up by an engineering firm that work deal with, they only cost me £20 and they allow the seat to be moved and sit a bit higher than if on the floor.
