RS Turbo ownership is going well for me and I love it... but I was very attached to my Valver. It was well known where I lived, I bought it standard with 17's on as a project and it ended up looking like this...

http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h287/SlammedValver/7.jpg

I sold it in August- that pic was the day it went.

I've spoke to a few people recently who see it about. Dull paintwork, never washed, exhaust sounds like it's full of holes apparently and it looks a complete dog. Speaking to someone who knows the new owner tonight and apparently the headgaskets gone, it's got multiple oil leaks, the clutch cables fubared and he started it in gear and ran into a wall...

Now don't get me wrong- people treat cars different and I'm no complete bufty, but I miss this car alot and put alot of time and effort it. Knowing how it's being treated I'd probably sooner have broke it for parts! How can something go from being near mint to a complete dog in 3months!!!

the guy you bought it off drives like a complete tool. sorry if your on here mate, but it looks like your making a film called "too fast too furious lancaster drift".

funnily enough not seen the car in the past 3 weeks.

post a pic of your new car, so i know who to beep at singleton crossing

Before the Clio ive got now i had an S reg Vectra 2.5 GSi Saloon in silver, immaculate paintwork and interior,19" bbs split rims, extra special bonus package was a Courtenay turbo strapped on aswell, was pushing nearly 265bhp.

It was too expensive to run come the end so i decided to sell up,some 18yr old bought it,well i say he did but his rich mummy&daddy did.

He turned it into a cube of metal 2 weeks later, broke both his wrists in the impact and sheared the hubs from the spokes on both front alloys, lucky to be alive but WHAT A TOSSER!!

Wish id never sold that car now,to him anyway as he didnt really appreciate the time and care that had gone into it like the owner of your valver now.

I really do,

Wish I had kept it as a weekend car but just part ex'd it in.

When your offered £1100 for a clio with no tax or MOT can't really say no.

Gonna buy a williams I think for the summer.

Or something small and fast, maybe a kit car !? lol

It's the wrong car to admit missing on this forum but I was gutted when I had to sell my 172 Cup. I changed jobs and had to drive an Astra 1.8 SRi ('they're really nippy' my boss told me - pah!) and I couldn't afford to keep it as well. I had it 18 months and lost an absolute fortune on it :(

That's why I've bought two ropey old valvers on the last year ;)

My old 205 got crashed twice by the next owner, and is now all but dead. I crashed it a couple of times too, though, so I can't complain

Coops... I no it's a ford, but 170bhp and 190+ after crimbo tells me it's ok to drive a car that sucks  :D

Remember selling my Mk1 RT to a lad at work, it was his first car and omfg did he treat it bad.

Used to hit the limiter from cold, rag the tits out of it all the time, dented the bodywork etc. Was quite sad to see really. In the end he sold it for £100 (he bought it for £630 8 months prior) to a garage.

Dunno what happend to it, but did see another car with it's wheels on which seems weird, so it's either broken or rolling on some 17's or summat lol.

All in good time hehe!

Fasterthanjesus- think I mis-read your post. The Fiesta was from Glossop and had been there a few good years. It looked completely different when I've got it. There was one other red FRST round here but that was sold a while back :D

I'm looking at getting a second car after xmas and everything is swaying me towards a valver! Infectious, so they are!
