Mystery Oil Leak

On my valver i noticed an oil leak the other day, seems to be dripping quite frequently, can't seem to see where its coming from but seems to be dripping down from behind the engine and sometimes down the side of the sump and dripping off there, oil level was slightly over max, then i checked the other day and its way over max? what is the likely cause?

If it's on the driver side, it's probably engine oil. Did you cane the engine hard just before you checked for the drip? Reducing the oil level a few mm below the dipstick max might help. In any case, these engines typically lose about half dipstick level every 3k-5k miles, more if you run the engine hard all the time.
