how do i flush this all out doesnt look the best of colours. but the bottle is all dirty so supose it wouldnt. also wana get hold of a new bottle so i can see the fresh coolant in nice blue in there any1 know how much these r from reno??

best way is take the bottom hose off the rad and let it piss out! also undo the bleed valve on the rad to aid it then run some water through it with a hosepipe until the water runs clear! bear in mind some coolants are brown anyway so that will make it look dirty too

think a new bottle is about £25

i got one...

might sound expensive for a plastic bottle, but the other alternative is an alloy one which costs FAR more, plus a new standard one looks really good IMO

Fresh coolant should stay looking clean for a very long time, unless its getting contaminated with oil etc.

Can get rust in block and radiator too that builds up and decolours the coolant.

A new radiator is always a good idea after alot of miles / time. Fairly cheap and could save your engine.

When i brought the car, almost a year ago now i flushed the coolant and got a new bottle, used 'Bluecol' coolant, and its still nice and blue, althoguh have had to top it up a couple of times, but thats nice and normal
