This will probably sound daft but can someone please show me the route for the speedo cable,i know it starts behind the clocks but when i get to the engine bay i l;ose track of it,want to change it over myself as Renault want me to re-mortgage for their services.

Thanks in advance

andy

as far as i know it follows the brake lines behind the manifold heat shield clipping into the bulk head. It then raises upto the throttle body over the top of the battery.

Ive never changed one though - but it gives u a quick rough idea.

Umm,isnt that the accelerator cable,it says in Haynes that it attaches to the gearbox somewhere but all i can see is the gear linkage,or am i just being thick

speedo cablo fits in the top of the differential, you wont see it form underneath.

It goes in the top near the starter motor, never changed it myself but doesn't look ne harder than changing the clutch cable...

if you can see the rear eng mount, it goes in right at the top of that on the diff. comes out of the bulk head directly under the coolant header tank
