When ordering the front shocks i also asked for bumpstops.
yer man at renault said they come in a kit called a "repair kit".
Below is a diagram of the "kit" however to me they look like the top mounts and some other large donut rubber thingy.
Can anyone confirm this to be a bumpstop?
dont want to open the bag as he will proably be anal about returning them then.

Had a look on this thread of lunners dialogue and wasnt able to figure it out.

The part number for the kit is 7701470089
and inside the rubber donut is 7700827436

the rubber donut thing is the bumpstop. :oops:

nope its not, thats the top mount anti-knock rubber.

the bump stop bush is tubular and fits INSIDE the shocker, best pic i got is of my old shagged ones, its split in 2 here, bottom dust sleeve and the smaller circle shows the top bush part up inside the top of the strut

You mean this part - (see attached picture 2)

When i renewed all the suspension on NLRG Renault only suplied a superseeded design from the original. If u look at the bulit up shocker - the bump stops dougnuts are equal - not large and small like the original !

Thanks for the info chaps.I remember Northy you mentioning replacing bumpstops in the past hence why I ordered them.
I will get on to that donut eating parts fooker 2morrow. :D
